Casa de Fruta

11 x 10 spaces are $200.00 for the friday, saturday and sunday

March 29, 30 & 31, 2013-Casa de Fruta, 20th annual Easter Weekend Arts & Crafts Fair held by Casa de Sweets and the train station. 11 x 10 spaces are $200.00 for the friday, saturday and sunday. Hours are 9 to 6. Casa de Fruta is on highway 152 just 15 miles east of Gilroy and highway 101, and about 35 miles west of I-5. It has a truck stop, 300 space RV park, wine tasting, restaurant, etc. and is very busy on this holiday weekend. In addition there will be a billboard on the highway, and advertising in several local newspapers.

May 3-5, 2013

Bass Lake

May 3-5, 2013, Bass Lake Arts and Crafts Fair, 7th annual. Pines Village, Bass

Lake, about 50 miles NE of Fresno ,and about 8 miles NE of Oakhurst. This is a

very popular fair location and has been excellent for sales in the past. Heavy

advertising. 11 front and 15 deep spaces are $200.00, and most spaces are

comers, and if you need a second space, the fee is $300.00 for the 2 spaces.

3 days of selling from 9-5, and you can stay later if you like. A lot of

boaters come in off the lake in the evening. Bass Lake is at 3400 feet elevation

in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Cambria

June 8, 2013-17th annual Cambria summer arts and crafts fair, held at the

Vet’s Hall Parking Lot at Hwy 1, Cambria Dr. and Main st. 11 front and 10 foot

deep spaces are only $80.00, and a 22 front and 10 foot deep space is only $120.00

and some spaces are 20 feet deep for no extra charge! Heavy advertising. No sleeping in

vehicles at the fair site, but there are many nice motels in Cambria, San

Simeon, and Morro Bay. San Simeon State Park books early this time of year, so

plan accordingly. The new contract allows just my own RV parking in the lot

12 x 11 spaces are $200 for the 3 day Labor Day Weekend fair, and a 24 x 11 space is only $300.00.

August 31-September 2, 2013-Casa de Fruta, 7th annual. 12 x 11 spaces are $200 for the 3 day Labor

Day Weekend fair, and a 24 x 11 space is only $300.00.

Located on Hwy 152 about 15 miles East of Gilroy and Hwy 101,

and about 30 miles west of I-5 at the Casa de Fruta Pkwy offramp. 5th annual

fair. 2012 sales were excellent for vendors. Casa de Fruta is world famous, and

has a truck stop, 24 hour restaurant, fruit stand, deli, wine tasting,train

ride, antique double decker merry go round, sweet shop, 300 space RV park,

motel, gas station, and has lovely parklike grounds. The fair is setup where all

of the action is right by the train station and the Casa de Sweets. Heavy

advertising in 5 newspapers, and a billboard right on Hwy 152, help bring in

October 25-27, 2013

Bass Lake

October 25-27, 2013- 31st annual Bass Lake Fall Festival and arts and crafts fair held at the Pines Village

at Bass Lake , about 50 miles NE of Fresno , and about 8 miles NE of Oakhurst. 11 front and 15 foot deep

spaces are only $200 for the 3 days and most spaces are corners! Heavy advertising. Bass Lake is at 3400

feet elevation in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains, and named best resort in the west by Sunset

magazine. There will be live music by the Roger Perry Band There is no longer parking for RV's at the

fair, except for mine. You may sleep in your vehicle, or in your booth if you like. There are chalets and

rooms at the Pines Resort, and there are many motels in Oakhurst.

November 2, 2013

Cambria

November 2, 2013 -6th annual Cambria Vet's Hall Parking Lot, Hwy 1 and Cambria Dr. and

Main St. The weather is usually still nice in early November for an outdoor fair. The fee will

be $80.00 for an 11 front and 10 foot deep space, with some spaces 20 feet deep for no extra charge.

2 spaces will be just$120.00 Heavy advertising and great Hwy 1 frontage. No sleeping in vehicles but the

most of the motels rates are very reasonable this time of year. Also, San Simeon State Park is

open all year just 3 miles N. on Hwy 1. The new contract allows just my

own RV parking in the lot overnight. No parking is allowed overnight across the street.

November 29-December 01 , 2013

Bass Lake

11 front and 15 foot deep

November29-December 1, 2013- 6th annual 'Pines Village' Bass Lake Christmas Tree Lighting arts

and crafts fair, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday and Sunday 9-5, and

Saturday 9-9 because of all the people coming for the parade and

the tree lighting ceremony. This is a big deal up here in the

mountains, and the locals really support this annual event. Spaces will be

11 x 10 on the grass across from the Shell Station in the Pines Village and

are very limited in number so apply early if you can.The cost is still only

$200 flat fee for the 3 day fair. Heavy local advertising and bring your

lanterns for Sat. evening. I will try to have power but don't know how much.

This is usuall a very good fair with many vendors having their best sales

of the whole year! RV's are no longer allowed, except for mine, but you may sleep in your

vehicle if you like. There are chalets and rooms at Bass Lake, and there are reasonable rates

in Oakhurst, just 8 miles away. There will again be great live bluegrass music!

December 7 & 8, 2013

San Luis Obispo

11 front and 10 deep spaces are only $180

December 7 & 8, 2013-San Luis Obispo, Holiday in the Plaza, in front of the Mission, near Marsh and Chorro Streets

and Monterey street. The city of San Luis Obispo has been putting on this event for many years, and now it is part of

The Craft Fair! 11 front and 10 deep spaces are only $180. There will still be a Santa's house, food, and live music.

This has been a very successful event in the past. For this event apply only if you make your own arts and crafts.

I do allow exceptions in my other fairs, as most of you know. This fair has been strictly juried in the past, and I would

like to keep it that way. The city will be allowing me to park my motorhome next to the fair for the entire weekend,

so as in my other fairs, I will be there night and day. If you are handicapped please let me know, and I will assign spaces

accordingly. It would be great if you decorate your booth for Christmas. This fair will go on rain or shine, as all of my

other fairs, and there will be no rain date. After living here, I have found that the chance of rain is much higher in late

December and into spring, so chances are we will have nice weather. The average rainfall is about 3 " in December,

and the average highs are in the mid to upper 60's, and the average lows are in the mid to lower 40's.
